Daniel Herskedal completed his bachelor degree in performing jazz in Trondheim, 2006. Now he is studying for master degree at RMC in Copenhagen. He is working on many different projects, like Listen!, Kaktusch, The Bat Band and Dixi. As a part of his master degree, Daniel writes music inspired by the Sami people’s music, called joik, and also music to a church mess. He has done a lot of freelancing in addition to these projects, like Trondheim Jazz Orchestra with Vikleik Storås, Bendik Hofset and Erlend Skomsvoll. Daniel is also a member of Django Bates’ big band in Copenhagen, Stormchasers.
