Listen! has existed since 2002. It’s an awarded jazz trio which has toured in both Europe and the Middle East, including Spain, Syria, Belgium, France, Denmark, The Faroe Islands, and Hungary. They released their debut album “Listen!” in 2007, which received brilliant critics. Among the places Listen! has performed are Getxo Jazz Festival, Oslo Jazz Festival, Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Festial van Vlaanderen, and last but not least the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. Listen! is highly participating in longterm projects in cooperation with other musicians from different cultures and music traditions. In October 2009 the trio will be touring in Norway together with three Syrian musicians from Damascus (more info), and in November they will travel to Cuba to interact with the music and musicians of the Latin-American style of jazz.
